The Dawn of a New Year
Good Morning Readers:
Embrace a New Year, with a new feeling. This is an opportunity to make changes to our lives, for the better. This is the time, when we hope a new year will bring us opportunities to move towards a new and exciting beginning.
Yes, this is the year we all want to progress and move towards our goals. They don’t have to be big goals, but none-the-less, goals that can make us feel good when we achieve them. A new start, is always a good feeling. Whether it is being a better student, or helping elderly parents through tough times or becoming a volunteer to help those less fortunate, will make us feel better for contributing to our society.
So, we have this opportunity at the beginning of every new year; we need to use it wisely. We hope the world will work towards peace and peaceful outcomes in areas around the world that are in conflict. This is important for stability and thus allows regional prosperity to grow, and expand. So, with everyone’s help, one person at a time, we can make a difference to our world. We can bring joy and peace around us.
Please don’t forget to look at my two poetry books that were published by Austin Macauley Publishers, in 2021 and 2022. They are, ‘The Mists of Time, and ‘Waking Up To Beauty’.
Below are some quick ways you can find out all about my books.

Open this website and look under ‘Author’. Search under ‘H’, and find my name and picture. You will notice both my books are included here. Click on words in italics under each book cover for in-depth information. You can read some of my poems too.
The books also come in an ePub format, which is convenient, because when you buy them, they will be uploaded to your device and you will get them very quickly. You can buy the books online at bookstores and you can order them at your local bookshop in your town or village.
Poetry is becoming more and more popular and I’m hoping that my website will help promote this more widely. Reading poetry is thought-provoking and relaxing. It may give you some ideas that perhaps you too, could write poetry. I do enjoy it when I have finished writing a poem, and reflect upon it. I often wonder, “Where did that come from?”. Yes, we have the capacity, when an idea comes to mind, to write down a few words, and then see where it will lead to.
Happy New Year to you all.
Anne
