MY POETRY BOOKS ACCEPTED INTO LOCAL LIBRARY
Hello Readers,
As you no doubt know, I have two poetry books which
have been published a year apart by Austin Macauley Publishers, in
London. The first one is called, ‘The Mists of Time’, and
was published April 30, 2021. The second book, called, ’Waking
Up to Beauty’ was published, April 29, 2022. Both these books come in
paperback and ePub formats. The ePub format is very convenient for a lot of
people, as they can have the book uploaded onto their favourite device.
After each book was published I asked my local
library, would I be able to have the paperback and the ePub formats submitted
into the library system. After completing a form, and a little while
later, I was told that they had been purchased and accepted into the
library system, and available to be loaned out to members.
I’m very happy about this. The City of Gold
Coast Library System has 21 libraries covering the Gold Coast of
Queensland. I’m hoping that my 2 poetry books with the ePub format, will
be read by a wide audience.
ePub formats, or some people call it an e-book, are
very useful. Some people live in places where delivery of a book can take
quite a while, so if they buy an e-book format of my books, they will receive
the book quite quickly, uploaded onto their device, probably straight away
after ordering it. For some people, they prefer to hold a book in their hands,
and turn the pages. It’s more intimate.

aspect of poetry and poets. I realise that younger students, unless studying English
Literature or poetry, may not be familiar with the genre of poetry. This being
the case, I hope that my website will help introduce and encourage you to get
involved in something new.
Perhaps you may like to start by reading a
published collection of poetry. This is called an anthology; the poems may be
by different poets or the same poet. This will give you a flavour of the
various poets, and their style of writing, and will help you decide the
kind of poetry you prefer.
